Jackson Fence Company, LLC is seeking the right candidate for the crew leader position. This person will be well-spoken, self-motivated, energetic, detail focused, and results oriented. The job is full-time and will handle fence installation primarily in the area of West Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career with a respected and growing company. 

A Day in the Life of a Fence Crew Leader

As a fence installation crew leader, you wake up bright and early each workday, excited to join the crew, dig in, and do quality work. Our work day begins promptly at 6:30 am. You will take your work order for the day and begin organizing and leading your team to carry out the work order. Every job will be in a different location, but the day will always begin and end at Jackson Fence Company headquarters. 

Every new job comes with new plans, specs, and customer-specific expectations. You will need to layout your crew to perform in an efficient and safe manner. Ensuring the safety of your crew is of the upmost importance. Leading the crew to an efficient completion of the job is your second priority.  You will also be required to ensure paperwork is turned in on time. You always interact courteously and respectfully with our clients. You work efficiently and with attention to detail, leaving each customer pleased with the quality of the work and the overall experience in general. You are service-oriented and get great satisfaction out of a job well done!

Job Qualifications

• Class A driver's license required
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience as a foreman / crew leader on a fence installation crew
• Time management
• Amazing work ethic, physically strong and able to work a full shift in the elements
• Strong leader
• MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR A FENCE COMPANY.
• Must have knowledge on how to install- Commercial Chain Link, Ornamental Iron, Vinyl, Wood Fence and other types of fencing materials.
• Are you self-motivated and able to work independently? Are you equally able to work as part of a team and direct the crew in the right direction? Are you driven and focused on producing quality work? Do you enjoy working with your hands? Do you enjoy working outside?

Compensation

$22 - $30 per hour
